Nigeria, under President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, signed five important agreements with China on September 2023These agreements, known as Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), aim to strengthen ties between the two nations and foster cooperation in key areas.
Yusuf Tuggar, Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, confirmed that these agreements are already being implemented.
The Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, visited President Tinubu at the State House in Abuja, where they discussed progress on the agreements. Minister Tuggar expressed confidence in the partnership, highlighting the mutual respect and shared goals between the two countries.
