Born in Jos, Plateau state – meet Orajimetochukwu Phares Okammor from Anambra state; whose father was a former Basketball player. Jimeto has two other siblings: Sochikanyima (8yrs old) who plays Basketball; and Sopuluchukwu (4yrs old) and is already practicing to be a Boxer.

For a 6-yr-old, Orajimeto ran an impressive Lifetime’s Best of 17.72s (-1.2) to finish 5th in heat 7 of Boys 100m Cadet.

MTN were quite impressed with Orajimeto’s story, and General Manager, Emamoke Ogoro rewarded him with some gifts at the stadium.

Jimeto’s father said that he loves playing Football, and could run all-day; however he opted for him to start training in Athletics so that he could sway his mind away from Football.
