“Police is our friend” Portable says as he reveals he’s now a police ambassador one week after his arrest

Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable,  has revealed that he is now a police ambassador.

The street singer shared photos of himself laughing and posing with important personalities at a police office.

In the caption, he wrote, “After God na government.”

He added, “police is our friend.”

He also referred to himself as “Omo ijoba (government’s child)” and a “police ambassasor”.

This comes one week after a video of him scaling a fence to evade arrest went viral.

He was eventually arrested on Tuesday, May 14, in the Abule Egba area of Lagos for allegedly refusing to pay the balance of a G-Wagon vehicle he purchased from a car dealer.

The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner was reported to have bought the vehicle worth ₦27 million but paid only ₦13 million, with ₦14 million balance.
