In 1946, Miss E A Adebonojo (from ljebu-Ode,Yoruba Land, Western Nigeria) points to a map

she has drawn on the blackboard showing Yoruba country in Nigeria, during a geography

lesson at Marlborough Senior Girls School, Isleworth.

Miss Adebonojo had her teacher training at the United Missionary College, Ibadan, and taught at a girls’ boarding school. She equally won the Nigerian Teacher’s Higher Elementary Certificate.
