 *MESSAGE*

As we celebrate Father’s Day today, it’s an opportune moment to reflect on the profound impact fathers have on our lives and to recognize the ultimate Father-God. Ephesians 3:14 (KJV) states, “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named.” Fathers on earth are reflections of the heavenly Father’s love, guidance, and provision. Just as earthly fathers play a vital role in shaping families, God’s fatherhood serves as the foundation for our identity and purpose.

Father’s Day is more than an occasion to express gratitude to our earthly fathers; it’s an opportunity to seek the wisdom and strength that comes from our heavenly Father. Proverbs 3:12 ( KJV) reminds us, “For whom the father loveth, he correceteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.” God’s correction and guidance are rooted in His love for us. As fathers strive to exemplify God’s attributes, let us in turn, turn our hearts to the Father above, acknowledging His unwavering love and seeking His guidance in our lives.
