The Nigerian airforce airlifted students home using a military aircraft to avoid the dangers on the road.
Students of Air Force Military School and Air Force Girls Military School, both in Jos, were taken to their homes across different states in Nigeria via the military aircraft.
Photos shared online show them lining up to board the aircraft.

The airforce said arrangements have also been made to airlift them back to school after the holidays ends.
