Man arrested in Bayelsa for allegedly circulating lady’s n*d£ video

The Bayelsa State Police Command has arrested a man in connection with a n*d£ video of a young girl that has been circulating on social media platforms.

According to a statement released by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Musa Mohammed, the suspect, identified as Godgift Bai, 24, from Ogbolomabiri in Nembe Local Government Area, was apprehended in Yenagoa on September 3, 2024.

Mohammed said the arrest follows a thorough investigation by the Cyber Crime Unit, acting on the directive of the Commissioner of Police, CP. Alonyenu Francis Idu.

The police spokesperson reiterated the command’s commitment to curbing cyberstalking and exploitation of individuals, especially vulnerable ones, and urged the public to refrain from online exploitation.

He said the suspect will be charged to court accordingly.
