IBF World Heavyweight Title: UFC fighter Israel Adesanya bets N16.45m on Anthony Joshua to beat Daniel Dubois

UFC fighter, Israel Adesanya has bravely placed the sum of N16.45m ($10,000) as a bet on Anthony Joshua defeating Daniel Dubois in Saturday’s IBF world heavyweight title.

Dubois was initially the interim IBF champion but was promoted to full champion in June 2024 after Oleksandr Usyk vacated the belt and on Saturday will face Joshua.

The bout will be Joshua’s thirteenth world title fight and if he wins could meet up against the winner of Usyk vs Fury 2 next year.

In a post made on his Instagram account, Israel Adesanya shared an image of him with Joshua with the caption, “OGUN!! This fight got beef… grab the @stake sauce.”

‘The Last Stylebender’ also posted an image of his bet on Joshua’s victory with a $10,000 stake and an estimated $50,000 payout on the line. The bet will only pay out if Joshua beats Dubois within the 10th to 12th round.
