Court Stops Parties from Granting Interviews in Natasha’s Case Against Akpabio, others

A Federal High Court in Abuja, led by Justice Binta Nyako, has issued an order preventing all parties involved in the lawsuit filed by suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan against Senate President Godswill Akpabio and three others from giving press interviews about the case.

This decision was made after Akpabio’s lawyer, Kehinde Ogunwumiju (SAN), complained that Akpoti-Uduaghan was frequently appearing on television to discuss case-related issues that are currently under judicial consideration.

Justice Nyako emphasised that there will be no press interviews by any of the parties or their legal representatives concerning the matters at hand in the lawsuit. Additionally, she prohibited the streaming of the case’s proceedings on social media.

More details will follow as the case develops.
