Cristiano Ronaldo’s son Cristiano dos Santos earns first Portugal call-up

Cristiano dos Santos, the 14-year-old son of five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, has been called up to the Portugal Under-15 squad for the first time.

Like his father, the young forward currently plays for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia and has previously spent time at Manchester United and Juventus, two of Ronaldo’s former clubs.

He will join the Selecao U15 for the Vlatko Markovic youth tournament in Croatia, where Portugal will face Japan, Greece, and England from May 13 to 18.

Cristiano Ronaldo, now 40, remains active with Portugal’s senior national team and famously led them to Euro 2016 glory, the country’s first major international title.
