Bella Hadid’s secret to ‘dewy’ skin is an affordable face cream loved by shoppers

Supermodel Bella Hadid has recently given fans a peek into her skincare routine and the makeup she uses for her alter ego, Belinda. The 28-year-old beauty, who hails from sunny California, has strutted on catwalks worldwide and collaborated with top fashion and beauty brands.

Despite having access to an array of high-end products, Bella swears by a budget-friendly face cream that gives her what she describes as a ‘dewy look’. In a Vogue video, she detailed her daily skincare regimen, which includes the Weleda Skin Food Original Ultra Rich Cream and shoppers can nab Bella’s exact moisturiser in a twin pack for just £29.90 from LookFantastic.

“I’ve been trying to be an adult and do adult things like preventative creams,” she shared. “Weleda Skin Food Original Ultra Rich Cream – I go through about eight of these a month, and I buy them from CVS. I’m absolutely obsessed with them – I have the small versions, large versions. So this is how I achieve a good dewy look, and I like to say this is really the best primer for me.”

The Weleda Skin Food cream also comes in a ‘light’ version with a gel cream texture and a rich butter for body. This popular green bottle is microbiome-friendly, helping to restore the skin’s protective barrier with organic rosemary, calendula, and chamomile extracts, reports the Mirror.

An award-winning cream with soothing properties, the Weleda Skin Food Original Duo delivers a sense of comfort to dry, sensitive-feeling skin. The ultra-rich lotion utilises a blend of plant extracts to deliver an intense boost of moisture.

Bella Hadid and other A-list celebs like Victoria Beckham, Adele, and Julia Roberts all adore the multitasking Weleda cream, which they stash in their makeup kits. It’s a beauty Swiss Army knife, doubling as a face mask, highlighter, eyebrow fixer, hand and cuticle cream, and even for taming those unruly frizzies.

Other than Weleda, the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré rivals in benefits and is snagged on Amazon for only £15.95 for a generous 75ml – Michelle Keegan’s makeup artist swears by it for a hydration hit and primer before a makeover.

Amidst glowing reviews, not everyone’s over the moon with Weleda’s Skin Food Cream scent. As one shopper pointedly remarked, “I wasn’t aware that this cream has scent in it and unfortunately can’t tolerate and really bothers me as I use all unscented products, however my fiance loves it.”

Bella then continued to give fans a peek into her daily beauty regime and upped the ante with her show-stopping “Belinda” look. She relies on blush to hide her health woes, sharing: “My skin gets a bit off colour when I’m having a flare-up. People with immune system problems know it’s hard to explain, but when you have a flare up, you don’t know what day you’re going to not feel well.

“You’ll wake up and just look a lot sicker. I’ll put some blush on and people will think I’m not sick but underneath it all, I’m pretty sick.”

For that healthy glow, Bella reaches for the Saie Spicy Dew Blush, a £20 splurge at Cult Beauty that infuses the cheeks with a moisturising pop of sun-kissed colour.
