Olaplex hair products, especially the iconic No. 3 Hair Perfector treatment, are globally adored for their ability to strengthen, repair and rebuild strands, particularly if you regularly colour or heat-style your hair. Olaplex also makes a fantastic shampoo and conditioner for daily maintenance, but those with fine or flat hair might have found it a bit too heavy. Now, there’s a new solution.
Olaplex has just unveiled new versions of its shampoo and conditioner specifically designed for fine hair. The No.4 Fine Bond Maintenance Shampoo and Conditioner are priced at £14 for small 100ml bottles and £28 for 250ml bottles. They contain low molecular weight hyaluronic acid that helps to hydrate and soften hair, plus a ‘Hydra-Balancing Matrix’ that cleanses and conditions locks, without weighing them down.

Additionally, unlike the original shampoo and conditioner, these new formulas include flexible polymers, which help to give the hair volume and lift from the roots, reports the Mirror.
As someone with long, fine hair myself that tends to look limp and flat – yet is also regularly bleached – I’m super excited to try out this new hair-washing duo. I have used and loved the original Olaplex shampoo and conditioner in the past but do find it a little rich for my thin hair, so these new launches sound like they’re exactly what my haircare routine has been missing.
I’ve also recently started using Olaplex’s No.5 Leave In Moisturize and Mend Leave In Conditioner, £30, on my hair ends, which I believe is doing wonders for my lacklustre locks.
I always keep a bottle of the brand’s star product, No.3 Hair Perfector, in my bathroom for intense treatments post-colouring – and currently, the best deal you’ll find is on Amazon, where a 100ml bottle has been reduced from £28 to £19.50.

Olaplex No.3 Hair Perfector Repairing Hair Treatment is suitable for all hair types, but those with dry or damaged hair will especially appreciate its restorative properties. It’s packed with hydrating and nourishing ingredients like glycerin, panthenol and jojoba seed oil to give your hair the boost it needs.
While some may mistake it for a conditioner or hair mask, Olaplex No.3 actually works from the inside out on each strand, helping to mend bonds that have been damaged by things like heat styling, bleaching and general wear and tear. Over time, your hair will begin to look and feel softer and stronger, and be less susceptible to breakage or split ends.
