David Beckham’s debut Boss collection includes linen suit he says is ‘perfect for summer’

Football legend David Beckham has dipped his toes into the fashion world by launching his first collection with with Boss. The football icon has co-designed some key pieces in the Beckham x Boss range in time for summer.

Back in January, he stripped down to promote Boss’s new bodywear range – and fans were sent into a frenzy. Now, the 49-year-old has debuted his first menswear collection to reflect his inspiration and love for quality casualwear and timeless English suiting, including this Two-Piece Slim Fit Linen Suit (£945) that comes in both light beige and navy.

However, the price for these Beckham x Boss pieces are not cheap so fpr those wanting more affordable alternatives, Slater Menswear offers a Sawyers & Hendricks Tailored Fit Beige Linen Double Breasted Blazer for £95 and matching linen suit trousers at £45. Moss Boss also sells this Linen Blend T-Shirt in both oatmeal and navy, retailing at £59.95 each.

With hot weather on the horizon, the Beckham x Boss collection includes a number of summer must-haves like this Soft Linen T-shirt in light pink, £139. The T-shirt comes in straight fit yet is easy to match with any trousers to bring effortless style to everyday looks.

David spoke of his collaboration with the German fashion label and mentioned to British GQ: “Obviously, for this collection, it being spring/summer ’25, there’s some great linen suits in there, which will be perfect for the summer. Those are actually some of my favourite items. We did a navy linen suit and we did a beige linen suit.

“We did a pink knit T-shirt that was nice and very, very appropriate for Miami. But on the tailoring, I’ve always loved wearing suits. I like to dress casual. I love a great T-shirt and a pair of jeans, but I also love to dress up.”

The linen suit, available in regular and long lengths, has beem flying off the shelves since it landed online two days ago. Featuring a suble micro pattern for a heritage-inspired aesthetic, the slim-fit suit is made from a blend of virgin wool, silk and linen and shoppers can dress this up or down for weddings, formal drinks or dates.

David also added that he could see himself wearing the suit “by the water somewhere in Italy”, adding: “With the kids, with Victoria, going out to one of my favourite lunch places. I think that would be the perfect evening to wear one of the linen suits.”

For a chilly evening, shoppers can consider the Beckham x Boss Cotton-Blend Jacket, £429, to wear between seasons. Available from 34R to 48R, the regular fit jacket features a shirt collar and minimalist details like zipper closure, single welt pockets and fabric cuffs.
