Niger Delta Elder Alleges Wike Was Disowned by Father Over Family Betrayal

Niger Delta Elder Alleges Wike Was Disowned by Father Over Family Betrayal

A senior member of the Pan Niger Delta Elders Forum (PANDEF), Anabs Sara-Igbe, has made serious allegations about former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, claiming that Wike’s father once disowned him over a pattern of betrayal within the family.

Sara-Igbe made the claims in a now-viral video circulating on social media. In the footage, he accused Wike of turning his back on both his biological and political families.

“Wike started these acts of betrayal as a young boy, which is why his father allegedly disowned him,” Sara-Igbe said. “After being cast out by his own family, he was taken in by the late Timothy, who adopted him. Yet Wike reportedly turned against him too, attempting to oust him from his position as local government chairman.”

Allegations of Political Betrayal

According to Sara-Igbe, Wike’s political journey was marred by similar patterns of disloyalty. He claimed that Timothy, a late politician who once took Wike under his wing, was also betrayed when Wike allegedly plotted to remove him from office.

The claims have not been independently verified, and there has been no official response from Wike or his representatives as of the time of this report.

These allegations come at a time when political tensions remain high in Rivers State. Wike, currently serving as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has often been at the center of political debates in the region.

While Sara-Igbe’s remarks have sparked conversations online, many have called for caution, emphasizing the importance of verifying facts before drawing conclusions.
