Over the past few years, Apple has been offering more self-repair options than ever before. One evidence of this is the Self Service Repair Store, where you can buy tools and parts for repairing your own Apple devices—even recent ones like an iPhone 16 Pro. And now for the first time, you can buy tools to repair the recent M4 Mac mini, MacBook Pro, and iMac.
Apple’s online self-service store sells tools and parts for a wide variety of its products.
Now, the most recently launched Apple products—M4 Macs—have self-repair parts for sale too.
You can choose from an assortment of offerings for the:
M4 Mac mini
M4 MacBook Pro (14-inch and 16-inch)
and M4 iMac
The options available are extensive.
With the new Mac mini, for example, you can order parts for repairing the battery, bottom cover, fan, front USB-C ports, logic board, power button, and a lot more.
Apple lets you enter your device’s serial number to quickly ensure you’re getting the right parts. But you can also browse the full list of offerings using the site’s dropdown menus.
Have you used Apple’s self-service repair site before? What was your experience like? Let us know in the comments.
