Brazil confirms Carlo Ancelotti as its head coach

Carlo Ancelotti has been confirmed as the new head coach of the men’s national team of the Samba Boys of Brazil.

The Real Madrid coach will be the first foreigner who will take charge of Brazil in the history of the South American team. Brazil confirmed the appointment of Carlo Ancelotti on its official social media accounts on Monday, May 12, 2025 and will be in charge of their World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Ecuador next month ( June 2025).

He will leave his role as Real Madrid coach after their last game of the LaLiga season against Real Sociedad. Brazil will hope Ancelotti can lead them to another World Cup trophy.
