Police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the singer’s detention on Tuesday.
According to Hundeyin, Portable paid only N13m for the vehicle worth N27m and refused to pay the remaining N14m.
It was discovered that whenever the car dealer approached him to pay the amount, he always claimed the vehicle was defective.
“Yes, Portable has been arrested. He bought G-Wagon for N27m, paid N13m and refused to pay the rest, claiming the vehicle was bad. We arrested him today,” Hundeyin told Punch.
Before he was apprehended, Portable tried to escape arrest by jumping a gate. He was eventually caught and taken into custody.READ FULL ARTICLE>
