Ultimately, the question is asked: would you wear this ensemble at your 9-to-5? Well, the short answer it’s a matter of context. In a conventional, client-facing role, perhaps the bare shoulders and casual neckline might seem a bit informal.
Alternatively, if you find yourself in a laid-back office (not to mention the surge of work-from-home flexibility), then absolutely – it might just be the perfect fit.
Personally, I’d pair the airy top with more fitted, tailored trousers or throw on a lightweight blazer for added structure. This way, you maintain the laid-back, summer vibe without veering into casual territory.
