E-Money Denies Affair With Junior Pope’s Wife as His Funeral Service Begins

The funeral service of Nollywood actor, John Odonwodo, known to fans as Junior Pope, began at St. Peter’s Catholic Parish, Ukehe, Enugu State. The actor, aged 43, tragically lost his life along with four others in a boat accident on the Anam River in Anambra State. The unfortunate incident occurred last month as they were returning from a movie location.

Junior Pope was a vibrant force in the Nigerian film industry, known for his passionate portrayals and his infectious energy. “He was a beacon of light in Nollywood, bringing energy and passion to every role he played,” said a tearful colleague during the service. His sudden death has left a void in the hearts of many, from family members to colleagues and countless fans.

E-Money accused of an affair with Late Junior Pope’s wife

Popular businessman Emeka Okonkwo, also known as E-Money, found himself at the center of hurtful rumors alleging an affair with Junior Pope’s widow. This allegation came from a viral video where a tiktoker made this declaration. Recall that E-Money had earlier promised that he would be responsible for the welfare of the Late Junior Pope’s sons up till graduation.

E-Money, who was visibly upset by the allegations, has vehemently denied these rumors and expressed his determination to clear his name. “It has come to my attention that some individuals are spreading damaging and false information about my relationship with my late brother, Junior Pope, and his family during this difficult time of mourning,” E-Money stated in a heartfelt Instagram post. He emphasized the disrespect such rumors bring to the memory of Junior Pope and the additional anguish it causes to an already grieving family.

Determined to defend his and the late actor’s family’s honor, E-Money has pledged to take legal action against those spreading these malicious rumors. “I cannot fold my hands and allow this heinous act to continue without consequence,” he declared. 

E-Money has called on the public to assist in identifying the perpetrators, underscoring the need for accountability and a clean-up of the social media space from such harmful misinformation.
