Enzo Maresca shares his thoughts on Jackson and Palmer’s form

Chelsea’s head coach, Enzo Maresca has shared his thoughts on the recent form of Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer since the beginning of the year (2025).

Enzo Maresca was speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of this weekend’s London derby against Fulham on Sunday, April 18, 2025. He was asked about the form of Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer in most games since the beginning of the year.

He said,

“They have scored goals. It’s just a moment that they need to turn a little bit that moment. Cole scored 14 goals in 20 Premier League games, so he scored goals. Nico was the same before the injury.”

He also spoke about the return of Romeo Lavia from injury who recently returned to training after a long time.

What did Enzo Maresca say about Romeo Lavia?”Romeo is back. He’s training with us and he can be available for Sunday. With him, we’re going to try the same thing that we are trying with Reece.”

Maresca will hope that Palmer and Jackson find their form again as Chelsea continue in their quest to finish in the UEFA Champions League position.
