Scotland suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat to hosts Germany in the opening game of Euro 2024 on Friday night.
A torrid first half saw Scotland head in at half-time 3-0 behind and a man down, with Ryan Porteous having been sent off for an awful challenge on Germany midfielder Ilkay Gundogan. They did manage to get one back in the second half, but conceding two goals saw Steve Clarke’s side humiliated in their first Euro 2024 game.
