Four who manufactured guns and supply to kidnappers.

Four men who were said to be manufacturers of guns and who also supplied the weapons to armed robbers as well as kidnappers have been arrested by men of the Delta State Police Command, the command announced on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

It was gathered that they were arrested by the operatives set up by the Commissioner of Police on Special Assignment following what the command described as an “intensive intelligence-led investigation.”

According to the command, Sakutu was the first person to be arrested while a locally-fabricated AK-47 rifle was said to have been recovered from him. His confession led to the arrest of the three others.
