Freedom Mobile offering BOGO deal on Apple’s iPhone 16e

The buy one, get one deal works out to about $72/mo per person

Freedom Mobile has a buy-one-get-one deal on Apple’s brand-new iPhone 16e if you need two new iPhones.

The deal is in-store only and requires you to trade in or buy out the phones at the end of two years. You are also locked into two of the carrier’s $59/100GB plans, and the first phone will cost $25 per month.

This brings the total monthly spend on both the iPhone 16e models and the two data plans to $145, which is about $72 per person. If that’s cheaper than you and your partner’s current plans, then it’s hard to beat this deal since it comes with the brand-new iPhone.

That said, you will need to get a new phone or spend $299 to buy out the iPhones at the end of your two-year contract, so make sure to factor that into any buying decisions as well.

Is this the best iPhone 16e deal?
You can view all the other carriers’ iPhone 16e prices in our previous breakdown, but what’s most notable is that this isn’t actually the best deal, or even the best deal from Freedom.

Getting the phone online from the carrier is only $25 per month if you want to trade it in after two years, or $37.46 if you want to own it.

Since these options aren’t tied to the $59 plan, you can get a $39/60GB plan instead. That drops your monthly cost down to $59 if you want to return the phone, or $72 to own it outright.

That said, with both of these options, you need to pay $99 upfront. However, since it’s online, you are waiving the $45 connection fee, so the differences in upfront payments aren’t as big as they seem.
