In honour of Kate Middleton’s birthday yesterday, Prince William shared a sweet message and photo of the Duchess on their official Instagram account. The black-and-white snap shows Kate rocking a casual yet chic outfit consisting of denim jeans, a white shirt, and a black blazer, all tied together with a check scarf.
We’re big fans of Kate’s style here at OK!, and this picture just further cements her status as a fashion icon, showing how a statement scarf can instantly elevate any look. While we’re not certain about the exact scarf Kate is wearing, we’ve found an £18 alternative from Bershka that looks incredibly similar.
Due to the monochromatic nature of the photo, we can’t confirm the exact colour of Kate’s scarf, but judging by the print and the contrast between dark and light, we’re guessing hers is also black and white.

We also love Kate’s pleated white shirt in the Instagram post. We don’t know the exact brand she’s wearing, but we found an almost identical version from With Nothing Underneath for £150. Although this shirt is on the pricier side, With Nothing Underneath is a B-corp brand, so you’re paying for a company that has committed to its employees, community, and environment.
Plus, the materials used will be high quality and likely last in your wardrobe for years.
