GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Police say an investigation is underway after a pedestrian was hit near the ECU campus in Greenville on Sunday.
Greenville police say at approximately 7:30 pm, a car was turning right onto 10th Street from ECU’s campus on Founder’s Drive and struck a pedestrian that was crossing over the crosswalk.
They say the victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and charges are pending against the driver.
