Hunger protest begins in Niger State

Some youths on Monday, July 29, trooped to the streets of Suleja, Niger State to protest the economic hardship in Nigeria.

According to the Daily Trust, the protesters wielded placards such as ‘Enough is Enough’; ‘Stop Anti-Masses Policies’; ‘We Are Not Slaves In Our Country’; ‘Hardship Is Unbearable’, ‘Fuel Subsidy Must Be Back’, among others.

The protesters marched on the streets as they chanted anti-government songs.

Some of the protesters sighted on the Abuja-Kaduna expressway declined to speak with journalists.
