‘I am not being held hostage’ says man before his wife’s false teeth pop out

When 27 year old Quran McCain wanted to hit back at online trolls who hinted that he might be trapped by his 64 year old wife Cheryl, he cheekily replied with a video post. In it, he clarifies: “I am not being held hostage,” but the moment is hijacked when Cheryl tries to add her two cents and ends up losing her false teeth instead.

The hilarious mishap quickly went viral, racking up over a million views and a wave of over 800 comments – plenty of them from fans absolutely tickled by the unexpected and highly amusing incident.

TikTok’s loved-up duo, Quran and Cheryl, have made no secret that they’re eager to start a family, revealing they’ve been trying for a baby for some time and even sought the help of a surrogate in their quest for parenthood.

Sadly, their hopes took a nosedive when Cheryl, already blessed with 17 grandchildren, saw her surrogate hauled off to jail, casting doubt over the future of their family plans.

Regarding the dental debacle video, top comments included Kyndal Shockley playfully asking, “Do you not glue those things in?”, while Star Fever quipped, “Her dentures were trying to run away,” reports the Mirror.

Diane chimed in with affection, saying, “Oh Cheryl I love you guys.”

And Neicie, familiar with such scenes commented, “Oh goodness Cheryl. Not again.”

Vivian Alene offered some practical advice: “They have soft liner kits for dentures. Try that out it should help your dentures stay in. You can do it yourself.”

Some sceptics still entertained the dramatic notion that Quran might be in peril, suggesting he signal for help in code.

Sara speculated with a worried tone, “He blinked three times!”

A devoted husband who is 37 years younger than his 64 year old wife insists he is “not being held hostage” in hilarious ticktock video that has been viewed over a million times.

Echoing the concern, Isabella admitted, “I don’t think he’s OK.”

Dark Red even offered an escape plan, stating, “If you need help wear a red shirt.”

Yet, Cheryl and Quran remain unfazed by the naysayers; to them, their love transcends all barriers.

Their story began in 2012, with young Quran, then just 15, flipping burgers at a joint run by Cheryl’s son, Chris. Although they met, cupid’s arrow didn’t strike immediately.

Time passed and the pair lost contact, but serendipity had its moment in November 2020 when Quran recognized Cheryl, by then a mother to seven, behind the counter of a corner shop.

Now, despite Quran being younger than one of Cheryl’s kids, they’re proving that their connection defies age.

From viral TikTok videos to creating a shared life, this couple is showing the world that true love isn’t bound by numbers.
