‘I wore this cherry-scented perfume over the bank holiday weekend and got so many compliments’

‘I wore this cherry-scented perfume over the bank holiday weekend and got so many compliments’

The last perfume I tried was Sabrina Carpenter’s Cherry Baby, which I previously reviewed here. This fragrance earned me plenty of compliments and featured notes that were distinctly noticeable. So, when I stumbled upon another cherry-scented perfume, I thought it was worth a shot – and boy, am I glad I did.

As I’ve mentioned before, my sense of smell isn’t the best, making the task of finding a perfume I genuinely like quite challenging. However, there are certain scents I can identify and enjoy, leading me to discover a select few fragrances over the years that I keep returning to because they simply smell divine. But recently, I’ve been broadening my horizons and experimenting with various new scents.

The perfume in question is Cherry Fiesta by Who Is Elijah, currently available at Boots. With its dominant cherry aroma, this scent had everyone from bartenders to strangers to my mates asking what perfume I was wearing and where they could get their own.

Billed as a vibrant and unique scent that’s both playful and sophisticated, Cherry Fiesta is said to transport you to dancing on tables in Mykonos with a cocktail in hand – and it certainly conjures up such imagery; I’m already excited to take it with me on my Greek holiday this summer.

This fragrance promises to deliver a playful indulgence and seductive freedom, featuring bright, bold, and irresistibly decadent notes that make an unignorable statement. And based on my experience wearing it out, it certainly turns heads.

My latest fragrance obsession kicks off with a zesty burst of mandarin and pear, playfully accented with a hint of anise for a rich, flirtatious layer that dives into a heart of white florals and ripe cherry. This creates a tantalising, sultry blend that’s both sweet and daring, innocent yet irresistible, reports the Mirror.

This captivating scent concludes with notes of creamy vanilla and benzoin, creating a magical finish that envelops you like liquid velvet. It also features green patchouli, adding an earthy, rebellious twist to the sweet and fruity core.

Destined to inspire indulgence, this sensual and unforgettable perfume has quickly earned a prime spot on my dressing table. Many have been quick to say they’ll be snapping up their own bottle after I let them in on the scent that had everyone hooked all weekend.

Priced at £105 for 100ml from Boots, those eager to share my love for this new cherry-infused wonder can also grab a 50ml bottle for £80 from Cosmetify or for £118 from Free People. For more cherry fragrance recommendations, check out my review of Sabrina Carpenter’s Cherry Baby here.
