Here’s a guide on using the Contactless Passport Application System (CONPAS) in 10 simple steps:
Download and Setup Get the immigration app from Google Playstore, create a profile, and activate it using a valid email.
Access ServicesOn the app’s main page, click on ‘passport application services’.
Application ProcessFollow the guided steps for passport application, ensuring you select the self-enrollment option.
Payment Make the necessary payment and note down your application ID and Reference Number.
Biometric EnrollmentSelect the contactless biometric enrollment option within the passport services section.
Check EligibilityEnter your application ID and reference number to verify eligibility and proceed accordingly.
Booking an Appointment If you are not eligible for contactless biometric enrollment, book an appointment through the NIS passport application portal.
Complete Enrollment If eligible, complete the biometric enrollment as directed and submit it.
Mail Your PassportSend your current passport to the designated embassy along with a self-addressed envelope. Ensure compliance with this step to receive your new passport.
