Indians named in ICC Men’s Teams of the Year

The ICC has unveiled the teams of the year for all three formats as it rewarded players for their outstanding performances in 2024.

Several Indian stars managed to find a place in the teams as well, Let’s take a look at them one by one.

Rohit Sharma was named the captain of the T20I team as he led India to a triumph in T20 World Cup 2024.

All rounder Hardik Pandya also found a place in T20I team as an all rounder after scoring 352 runs and scalping 16 wickets in the year.

Arshdeep Singh was also included in the T20I team after he scalped 36 wickets from 18 matches in the format.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was selected as an opener in the Test team of the year after finishing as the second highest run scorer in the format with 1478 runs to his name.

Ravindra Jadeja’s 527 runs and 48 wickets helped him earn a place in the Test team as well.

Jasprit Bumrah was named in both Tests and T20I teams after winning Player of the Tournament award in T20 World Cup 2024 and picking 71 wickets in Tests.
