We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our instrumentation systems in our production facilities.We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our team of Enginers who design, install, commission, and maintain instrumentation systems in ourproduction plants.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all instrumentation systems are functioning correctly, efficiently, and safely, to meet our production targets and quality standards.Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement instrumentation systems for ourproduction processesInstall, commission, and test new instrumentation equipment and systemsConduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of existing instrumentation systemsEnsure that all instrumentation systems are calibrated and functioning within specified parametersCollaborate with production teams to optimize process control and improve product qualityDevelop and implement safety procedures and protocols for instrumentation systemsProvide technical support and training to production personnel on instrumentation systemsEnsure compliance with company safety and quality policies, as well as relevant industry regulationsProcess Control and Automation: Design, install, and maintain control systems to monitor and regulate temperature, pressure, flow rate, and other parameters in the production process.Measurement and Instrumentation: Select and install appropriate measurement instruments, such as flow meters, level transmitters, and temperature sensors, to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.Safety Instrumented Systems: Design and implement safety systems to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment, such as emergency shutdown systems and fire detection systems.Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems to minimize downtime and optimize production.Quality Control: Toensure that the production process meets quality standards by monitoring and controlling parameters such as pH, temperature, and moisture content.Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, preferably in the oil and gas, food processing, or chemical industries / Manufacturing industriesStrong knowledge of instrumentation systems, including control valves, transmitters, sensors, and actuatorsExperience with process control systems, such as DCS, PLC, and SCADAFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ISA, API, and NFPAStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressureExcellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teamsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
