Whether she’s part of the panel on Loose Women or stepping in to host Lorraine, Christine Lampard spends plenty of time in front of the cameras. That means her makeup always has to be flawless, and most importantly, stand up against the intense heat of studio lighting and hours spent on set.
Thankfully her makeup artist Helen Hand has been sharing Christine’s beauty secrets on Instagram. The MUA revealed she finishes off Christine’s beauty look with a spray of the ONE/SIZE On ‘Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray, which gives your makeup up to 16 hours of hold.

In fact, it’s so good at stopping your products from slipping that one reviewer said their makeup “lasted through 30 degree Island heat and an all day affair.” That immediately piqued our interest, as not only does it mean the setting spray is ideal for a full day of work or being out and about, but it’s also the perfect travel companion to stop makeup running in the heat.
Although you can snap it up in a full size 143ml bottle for £30, you can also get your hands on the travel-sized mini version, which comes in a 46ml bottle and only costs £15. The smaller size is perfect for chucking in your hand luggage, not taking up too much space in your beauty bag, or simply for testing how it works before you commit to a full size one.

You can also currently get your hands on the 30ml travel size of Urban Decay’s All Nighter Setting Spray on sale, down from £16.50 to £13.20, with LookFantastic showing that it’s so popular there’s been more than 100 of them purchased in the last 48 hours. Alternatively, Huda Beauty’s Easy Bake Setting Spray is also on sale, down to £22.40 from £28.
The ONE/SIZE On ‘Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray gives your skin a matte finish that lasts all day (or up to 16 hours, at least), and has a classic aerosol-style spray that feels lightweight and non-sticky on your skin. As well as locking in your makeup, it also contains several ingredients that boost the look of your skin for a flawless finish.
It contains green tea extract which helps tighten and minimise the appearance of pores, as well as witch hazel which absorbs oil, leaving your skin with a matte, blurred finish. Sephora shoppers are also loving the setting spray.
One reviewer wrote: “The only thing that will keep my makeup on my skin! Even after 10 hours my makeup still looked pretty much perfect without any fading / smudging / creasing. And I have extremely oily skin so this is unheard of for me. It can be a little drying so I always use a hydrating mist before. I really recommend if you’re looking for something to help your makeup stay all day!”

One was less impressed, writing: “Hate the strong scent and it irritates my skin. If you’re looking for a setting spray that smells like and work like hairspray, this may be the product for you. The only good thing about it is that your makeup will stay on.”
With someone else agreeing: “While I will say that this is a great product for making sure your makeup really lasts, I think it’s just too heavy and feels like hairspray. Something that I would only reach for if I’m going to an event, not for everyday!”
