Boots shoppers are snapping up Khloe Kardashian’s new perfume and the largest size is 15% off. XO Khloé, £63.75 (was £75) at Boots, has only just launched in the UK but is already proving popular.
It opens up with rose petals, lavender and sage before settling into a sweeter heart of praline, peach and orange blossom. It’s balanced out with an earthy base of musk, tonka bean, moss and woody notes.
It was created by Clement Gavarry and Alberto Morillas. Gavarry is a senior perfumer who has worked on many scents including Tom Ford and Phlur’s Vanilla Skin. Legendary Morillas has hundreds of perfumes under his belt, including Kenzo Flower, Gucci Bloom and Marc Jacobs Daisy.

The only review its pulled in on Boots is a glowing five-stars, they wrote: “This perfume is hands down my favourite. The smell is amazing, I usually go for Chanel, YSL, Thierry Mulger, Dior and Chloe. This is my new favourite and I’ve only worn it once. Beautiful.”
Over on Fragrantica, which is a social network for fans of perfumes, it’s pulled in a lot more reviews. One said: “This is a lovely scent. It is powdery, but not in a suffocating baby powdery way. It smells like a luxurious body creme to me. It’s an I’m not wearing perfume I just smell good sort of scent. I’m happy to have it in my collection.”

A second penned: “Beautiful, soft romantic scent. Very light and feminine. Similar to Chloé EDP but not exact [copy]. Love it!”
A third added: “This smells amazing. It’s clean and light but present at the same time. More umph than the typical light skin scents like Glossier you etc. I really really like it. Fresh airy signature type scent. Very inoffensive and pleasant. It was a blind buy and I’m pleased.”
One reviewer was quite critical and said it smelled quite basic. They explained: “How does it smell? Very nondescript. It’s mass appealing and soft. It wasn’t worthy to even go on my skin. The blotter card was more than enough for me. I could be blind folded and spin around and point to a dozen other designer fragrances it smells like. It’s basic. I’m sure it will do well and another fragrance will ensue next year.”
Boots shoppers can save 15% when spending over £60 on fragrance, meaning that XO Khloé in the 100ml size is reduced from £75 to £63.75 at checkout – saving you £11.25.
