Liverpool football club have completed the signing of Jeremy Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen as the Reds are preparing for the 2025/26 football season.
The Premier League Champions completed the deal of Jeremy Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen who is expected to fill in the void which was left by Trent Alexander-Arnold. According to reports, Liverpool secured the deal for the right-back after meeting his buy-out clause of £29.5 million placed by Leverkusen.
How much will Jeremy Frimpong earn at Liverpool?Frimpong is expected to earn around £100,000 per week on a three-year deal. He is expected to wear number 30,which he previously wore at Celtic and Leverkusen.
What did Frimpong say about his transfer to Liverpool?The Dutchman expressed his excitement about joining the Premier League Champions and the urge to make his mark at the club.
“It went quite easy. Liverpool came and said they had interest, and obviously for me it was a no-brainer. For me, it was like, Whatever you guys do, just get this done’, [speaking to] my agents: Just get this done. Liverpool fans, I’m going to give my all, my energy, my work-rate and hopefully we can win together, we celebrate together, get everything together. I am just excited to be here. Thank you guys for accepting me and I won’t let you guys down and I’ll give you the energy that you guys want.”
There are also reports that Liverpool are closing in on Florian Wirtz’s deal as they are confident that they will get the deal over the line. Furthermore, the Reds are said to be accelerating efforts to sign Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez.
There is a huge possibility that these deals are either done or close to it, it’s claimed that Liverpool fans could have a trio of brand new players by mid-June.
