Loved Srikanth? Watch these 6 biopics

Can’t think of anything else to watch after Srikanth? Well, we have curated a list of six compelling biopics that you can immediately watch post the Rajkummar Rao film.

The Shoojit Sircar directorial is a biopic of the freedom fighter, Sardar Udham Singh. The film features a stellar performance by the versatile Vicky Kaushal.

Another biopic by Srikanth director, Tushar Hiranandani, this stars Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar as sharpshooters Chandro and Prakashi Tomar. It was produced by Anurag Kashyap.

Gunjan Saxena stars Janhvi Kapoor as Indian Air Force pilot, who happened to be one of the first women to fly in a combat zone. It also starred Pankaj Tripathi and Angad Bedi in pivotal roles.

Vicky Kaushal embodied India’s first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw, in the Meghna Gulzar directorial. The film also starred Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.

The 2015 release is based on the life of Dashrath Manjhi. Manjhi was a labourer from Gaya, Bihar, who who carved a 30ft wide and 25 ft high path. The awe-inspiring film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead.

Manjhi: The Mountain Man

It is based on late air hostess Neerja Bhanot’s life who thwarted a hijacking attempt at Pan Am Flight 73 in Karachi. While Sonam Kapoor played the lead role, Jim Sarbh was the antagonist.
