Maya Jama has got us all talking with her latest Instagram post, where she’s officially ‘hard launched’ her relationship with Manchester City footballer Rúben Dias. The pair have been the subject of whispers for months now, and it appears they’ve finally made their relationship Instagram official.
As thrilling as the official announcement is, another aspect of the post caught our attention: Maya’s enviable style, which seems to have ignited a new Amalfi fashion trend.
From monochrome swimwear to trendy denim shorts and chic all-white ensembles, Maya’s Italian fashion looks have been spot on, providing us with some summer wardrobe inspiration for the upcoming season, reports the Mirror.
Regrettably, we’re not entirely sure where the Love Island host’s outfits are from, and we suspect they might be a bit pricey, so we’ve compiled a list of similar styles you can find on the high street if you want to emulate that Dolce Vita lifestyle.

Naturally, denim shorts are a summer essential that we can’t do without. What we particularly like about Maya’s is that they aren’t as long as Bermuda shorts or jorts but not short enough to reveal too much.
They resemble Abercrombie’s Curve Love denim shorts, which are ideal if you have curves like Maya’s, as they fit perfectly in all the right places and don’t have that dreaded waist gap.

Black-and-white bikinis are set to be a massive trend this summer, so it’s no shock to see someone as fashionable as Maya already wearing one. Taking inspiration from the Love Islander’s style, this tiny triangle bikini looks fabulous on Maya, and we’ve found a super affordable one from New Look that looks just as good.

A silky slip skirt and vest is a summer holiday outfit formula that simply never fails, and here Maya is proving just that. Aboard her yacht on the Amalfi Coast, Maya rocked an all-white midi skirt and cami combo, teamed with her natural beachy waves.
This is such a versatile look that will take you from day to night, and we’ve found an under £20 skirt from H&M that looks far more expensive than its wallet-friendly price tag.

White summer dress

In Rúben’s official Instagram couple post, Maya is seen looking absolutely stunning in a square-neck white dress that hits just above the knee, perfectly capturing that chic Italian lady vibe. While the micro mini is making a comeback, so too are dresses that fall around the knee, whether it’s slightly above, below or right on it – very reminiscent of the 90s.
The alternative we’ve found from Nobody’s Child is a tad longer and more A-line than Maya’s, but we reckon it captures that ‘Italian girl summer’ look to a tee. Just team it with a basket bag, strappy sandals, and a silky headscarf for the complete look.
