Bob Odenkirk is back for another action adventure
87North Productions
Before Bob Odenkirk turned in a seminal performance of TV’s prestige era playing Jimmy McGill and Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, he was most known for his comedy chops. People were surprised to see him step out of his comfort zone in the world of drama television, but it helped usher in a new reputation for the veteran, everyman star.
Odenkirk got to play an action hero in 2021’s Nobody, and the sequel is finally on the way. Nobody 2 might just be one of the best movies of the summer. Here is everything we know about it so far, from the cast to the trailer and the release date.
Is there a trailer for Nobody 2?
Nobody 2 does have a trailer that gets us right into the thick of the action. Fresh off kicking ass in the first film, former assassin Hutch Mansell is back and trying to get away from the life of crime that put his family in danger in the first film. With his wife and kids by his side while trying to enjoy a family vacation, Hutch has plenty of new enemies to beat down and a bunch of new set pieces to bounce around while killing the bad guys.
It looks like the corny, easy-going tone of the first film is back yet again. What people loved so much about Nobody is that it embodied star Bob Odenkirk’s career and personality to a tee. Odenkirk is an actor who came from humble beginnings and has slowly climbed to the top of the totem pole in Hollywood. He experiments with new genres and never takes himself too seriously. Nobody 2 will try to encapsulate this aesthetic yet again with a thrilling action adventure that leans into the cheesy aspects of beat-em-ups while reveling in the camaraderie of the outstanding cast.
Who is starring in Nobody 2?
Nobody (2021) – Tattoo Shop Scene
We know about Bob Odenkirk, but there are plenty of other good actors in this franchise that make it so fun.
Connie Nielson as Becca Mansell: Nielson returns as Hutch’s wife, who just wants to enjoy some family time with her husband and children. Nielson has previously been in other action films such as Inheritance, 3 Days to Kill, and Basic. She is also in the Gladiator franchise from Ridley Scott.
Christopher Lloyd as David Mansell: Lloyd is a personal favorite of so many movie fans, going back to his iconic performances in the Back to the Future franchise. Lloyd stole every scene in the first movie playing Hutch’s father. He has great chemistry with Odenkirk.
Colin Hanks: Tom Hanks’ most famous son will play a cop in this sequel and is the most famous new addition to the cast. Hanks was one of my favorite villains in Dexter back in the early 2010s, appearing as the season six antagonist.
When will Nobody 2 come out?
Nobody 2 will be released in theaters on August 15, 2025, over four years after the original film. The movie should be perfect for Better Call Saul fans who miss Odenkirk and action fans who want something besides John Wick on their screens.

Everything we know about The Office spin-off The Paper
Oscar Martinez will be returning for this new show.
Although it’s considered one of the most successful sitcoms of the 21st century, The Office has never really gotten a proper spin-off. That’s all changing with The Paper, which was first announced in 2024 and is set to follow a completely new industry: local journalism.
The series is set in the “same universe” as The Office, and was co-created by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman. The show is set to hit Peacock soon, and many want to know when more about the series. Here’s everything we know about The Paper:
