The Renfrew OPP detachment took a call at about 9 p.m. on Friday, May 2 about a single-vehicle collision on the Algonquin Trail just east of Mima Street.

Police and Renfrew paramedics, after arriving at the scene, found the driver and they were taken to a local hospital before being moved to a trauma hospital by Air ORNGE.
