It means all the households of Obed-Edom acknowledge the presence of God and they honor Him not minding if someone had been killed by the same Ark. Many families today drive away the blessing of God because of fear and self-center, some husbands or wives want to serve God are not supported by the family members. If the wife of Obed-Edom was like the wife of Job she would have discouraged her husband to run away or to disregard the king’s order and they would have missed the blessing.
