The Ottawa Police Service is requesting public assistance in locating a 53-year-old woman last seen on Elgin Street on March 14.

Rachelle Desrochers also goes by the name Francis, police said in a news release on April 2.

Desrochers is known to frequent Centre 507, THE WELL (275 Elgin St.) and the downtown core.

Although it is unknown exactly what she was wearing last, she often wears dark clothing/pants and possibly a dark-coloured poncho, police said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to call the Ottawa Police Service’s Missing Persons Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2355.
