The young woman who was brutally murdered by her boyfriend in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State has been identified as Edima, an auxiliary nurse. 

 

The suspect, simply identified as Elisha killed the victim and allegedly chopped her body. 

The incident happened in a house along Atiku Abubakar Way in the Uyo metropolis. 

 

The spokesperson of the State Police Command, ASP Timfon John, who confirmed the incident said they have commenced an investigation into the murder. 

 

“The suspect has been arrested and the command has commenced investigation into the murder already and in the next couple of days we will unravel the matter,” she added.
