Presidency releases video of Tinubu strolling to office after foreign trip

The Presidency has released a video of President Bola Tinubu officially resuming work at the Villa, a day after his return from his trip abroad.

This comes in the wake of the controversy surrounding the decision not to release any pictures or videos of the president’s return to the country after two weeks abroad.

Dada Olusegun, Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, shared a video with the caption: “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu back at his desk this morning, receives briefing from HM @bosuntijani, NCC EVC and HM Wale Edun, HM of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy at the State House.”

Tinubu was accompanied by his security aides, his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; and other aides.

Tinubu left Abuja on April 22 for the Kingdom of The Netherlands on an official visit.

He then traveled to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF), where he interacted with global leaders to attract more investors to Nigeria.

The president returned to the country on Wednesday, May 8.
