Rekindled 2

Pt 2

Ade jumped over the fence into the compound of the uncompleted building and then hid behind a water tank. When the coast was clear he moved towards the building and to Ade’s surprise he saw something unexpected and yet unbelievable.

Looking through the window, Ade saw what looked like a warehouse with lots of activities happening simultaneously at different places in the building. At one side, he saw three men doing metal works  while five men were packing things into some boxes and loading them in a truck and in another angle, Ade saw a young lady at the corner of the building tied up in a chair and he head covered with a cloth like bag. All the men were armed with different types of weapons and they looked very dangerous.

What’s going on  here Ade said to himself. Why is that lady tied up?  

Who could that be? All this questions made Ade want to get answers. At first Ade thought he should just mind his business  and go but he also thought  of going  to the police because of the things happening there which clearly looked illegal.

Ade decided to go to the police but he also decided to get closer to the tied lady to see if he could help her escape.

Ade managed to get close to the lady without getting noticed. He got so close that he called the lady whispering in an attempt to get her attention.

Ade:  hey , lady ..

Lady:  who is there? Please help me

Ade: that’s what am trying to do.  

Lady:  please….

Ade moved very close to her and removed the cover from her head.

Ade was dazzled by who he saw…..
