Pt 4

governor called the police Boss to have one of his men bring Ade over. The police ordered his deputy to go bring Ade .

Ade was escorted to meet the governor,  he was a bit nervous because he is meeting the number one citizen of the state face to face.

    Governor  :  Hello young man, how are you?  Am so grateful to you for the Intel you gave to the police that lead to the were about of my daughter,  thank you .

Ade : Am fine Sir. you don’t need to thank me, I was just at the right place at the right time Sir.

Governor : we have been looking for her for three days now. Just this morning I got a massage from the abductors saying that if by tomorrow morning I don’t step down they would send me the head of my daughter. But GOD put an end to their evil plans before it was executed. Thanks again.

Ade : I was just a vessel  that GOD used to free your daughter Sir.

All this while, Ade kept looking at Joy and thinking of how her beauty is so captivating and breath taking as she sat on bench while the paramedic checked to seeif  she is fine.

Joy soon got up and walked towards her Dad who was standing next to Ade after the paramedics certified her ok .

 As she got two feet away from her Dad,  there was a gun shot. One of the men arrested  managed to free himself from the handcuffs and removed the side pistol from the police man next to him, then he fired the pistol at the governor’s daughter with the intention of killing her but Ade selflessly throw himself in front of Joy as he shouted “gun” taking the bullet instead of Joy.

All the crowd took cover, the governor’s men swings into action while the man who fired the shot was gunned down by one of the governors security detail. Paramedic rushed to Ade for first aid . Ade just laid down on the ground not moving .
