Rema’s ‘HEIS’ climbs to the top of Spotify albums chart

Nigerian singer Rema continues his chart dominance with his latest album HEIS reaching number one on the NG Spotify Weekly Albums chart.

This comes after a strong debut at number two last week, despite having only one full day of tracking at the time. HEIS managed to dethrone Olamide’s Ikigai which had held the top spot for two weeks in a row. Rema’s album also shattered records with the biggest first-day streams of any album in 2024, racking up a massive 2.71 million streams.

This achievement adds to the success of HEIS. The album previously debuted at number one on the Audiomack albums chart, ending Olamide’s reign there as well. Rema seems to be on a hot streak, building on the immense popularity of his debut album Rave & Roses which recently hit a major milestone of 100 weeks on the Billboard World Albums Chart.

Fans are clearly loving Rema’s new music, and with HEIS now sitting at the top of the NG Spotify Weekly Albums chart, it looks like Rema will be reigning supreme for a while.
