Meghan Markle teases bonus podcast episode with Beyonce’s motherMeghan Markle’s Confessions of a Female Founder podcast isn’t quite over – the Duchess has announced a bonus episode dropping next week, featuring none other than Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles.

The surprise episode was announced on Lemonada Media’s Instagram, with the caption: “We had just wrapped Confessions of a Female Founder and packed up the mics—until a call came in that we couldn’t ignore. On the line was one of the most influential and inspiring matriarchs in culture today. Naturally, we hit record. @Meghan says it best: this one is special.”

The royal will attend the Blue Economy and Finance Forum (BEFF) on June 8. The event, held at the Grimaldi Forum on June 7–8, is organized by Monaco’s government, the Prince Albert II Foundation, and the Oceanographic Institute, with support from France and Costa Rica. It will gather global leaders and stakeholders focused on ocean health and sustainability.

Queen Letizia braves Madrid heatwave in Hugo Boss dressQueen Letizia braved the 32°C heat in Madrid to attend the 84th Madrid Book Fair at El Retiro Park.

This edition of the Book Fair is dedicated to the city of New York and will last for seventeen days, until June 15. Among the authors who will participate are Vivian Gornick, Junot Diaz and Katie Kitamura. For the occasion, she wore a light, elegant white dress by Hugo Boss and earrings by the Spanish brand Tous. This year’s fair highlights New York as the guest city, with a focus on its Spanish-speaking literary culture. Collaborations with leading U.S. universities have brought academic delegations to the event.

Crown Princess Victoria is seldom seen with her hair down, as the Swedish royal typically favors her reliable and practical low bun.

However, she surprised onlookers this week by changing her usual style and sweeping her long brunette hair up into a high ponytail. The youthful look was a depature from her usual sleek, polished chignon.

Jason Crozier, art director at Neville Hair & Beauty, previously explained the reasons behind her consistent beauty look.

“Crown Princess Victoria’s choice of a low bun isn’t just a personal preference but a reflection of royal protocol and practicality,” Jason said. “This hairstyle upholds the elegance and formality required of her royal duties, ensuring she presents a polished appearance at all public engagements.”

As expected, Princess Eugenie marked her son Ernest’s birthday by taking to social media to share a delightful update with her Instagram followers.

The royal posted a series of gorgeous photos of her two-year-old son and his big brother August, captioning the post: “Happy Birthday my darling Ernie. 2 today! And what an incredible two years it’s been. Always smiling, always laughing, always giving hugs and hello’s and making everyone happy. My golden boy, we love you! 🥰”

The adorable photos were one of her most personal updates to date, offering an insight into her family life at Ivy Cottage (including a relatably muddy garden), skiing holidays with husband Jack Brooksbank and London life with her two young boys. It’s clear the youngsters are the best of friends!

Style iconsWe all know royals are style icons, and none more so than Princess Charlene of Monaco, who has a tried and true formula.

So it was a surprise to see the mother-of-two welcome a new designer, and a softer silhouette, to her closet.

During a visit to Venice on 28 May, the Princess of Monaco wore a beautiful piece from Erdem, a brand loved by many British royals including Duchess Sophie and Princess Beatrice.

Danish regentsOne interesting story that came to light today was that the Danish royal family’s calendar has listed King Frederik’s mother, and the former monarch, Queen Margrethe, as regent from Thursday May 29 to Sunday June 1.

The couple’s eldest son, Crown Prince Christian, 19, acts as regent when his father is out of the country, but unusually the heir has joined his parents, and his three younger siblings, on their vacation.
