However, shoppers believe they’ve found a home solution that delivers salon-worthy shine at a fraction of the cost.

Moroccanoil’s new High Shine Gloss Mask has racked up dozens of impressive five-star reviews online, with customers hailing it as “a must-have in between salon visits” and “one of the best hair masks [they] have ever used”. While a large 200ml tube costs £28 from retailers such as Lookfantastic and Sephora, you can also purchase a smaller 75ml bottle for £17 – perfect if you want to give it a go for less first.
