But I will find out about it and I’ll make sure she regr£ts her actions.

It was Sunday, but I didn’t go to church because I still had a hangover and wanted more rest.
I had just had a bath and was laying in bed when I heard a knock on the door.
It was Diana, my younger sister.
“Mom said that I should ask you if you’re not making it to church this morning.” She informed me.
“Tell her I am not doing well. And I can’t make it to church today,” I said weakly.
She nodded as she dashed downstairs.
Whatever mom said later, I didn’t care; I just needed to rest.
It didn’t take long before I forgot when I slept off.
I awoke at around 02:00pm and gazed at the screen of my phone. By now, I was feeling a little better from the hangover.
I received numerous missed calls from friends. They had undoubtedly called to see how I was doing. Because they had witnessed what a wreck I was earlier that morning.
After returning a few missed calls, all I got back were provoking words from these pals about how drinking had made me look like a crazy man lying on the beach naked.
I was getting pretty annoyed.
The most recent missed call I received was from Dennis, who had nearly given me 7 missed calls.
Dennis was the one friend I could easily discuss secrets with.
Dennis had been gone from town last night, so he wasn’t with us.
He responded immediately i called him, like if he had been waiting for me.
“Hi Dennis!.” I greeted.
“Hey, Mario. What happened last night? I heard you were so intoxicated yesterday that you were found lying helpless on the beach.” He queried, looking concerned.
“Of sure, brother, but something happened that I’m still trying to figure out.
I had s€x with a girl last night and don’t recall who she was, but something tells me it was Nora again.” I told him.
“You’re correct! I told you earlier that that girl will try anything to get you into having love with her.” He said it while laughing.
I was very annoyed. I wanted to confront Nora about that, but Dennis encouraged me not to. He said she would try that act on me again, so I let it go.
Following the talk with Dennis, I headed to the balcony to fill my eyes with natural light.
Days passed, and I’d forgotten all that had occurred.
But the only issue was that every night since the incident on the beach, I dreamed of being on the beach with a really gorgeous lady having fun.
Now, in one of those dreams, I recall the lady assuring me, “You’re not dreaming.” “You’re only half awake and half asleep.”
But I would wake up thinking it was just a dream, and I would wish I hadn’t woken up because everything in the dream seemed so real.
One Friday night at around 09:00pm, an unexpected event occurred.
my dad had come from work and was in the sitting room watching Tv, while i was engrossed in my studies when my father, barged into my room with a look of thunderous fury.
Claiming he caught sight of a lady slipping into my room. His voice trembled with anger as he demanded answers from me as i stood bewildered.
“WHO IS SHE?” he roared, his voice echoing off the walls. “How dare you bring a girl into our home without our knowledge!”
My heart pounded in my chest as i struggled to comprehend my father’s accusations.
I had seen no one but myself in the room, yet my father’s rage brooked no room for confusion. “Dad, I don’t know what you’re talking about,” i protested, my voice tinged with confusion.
But my father’s anger only intensified at my denial. “Don’t lie to me!” he bellowed, his face contorted with fury. “If you don’t tell me who she is right now, I’ll throw you out of this house!”

Tears welled in my eyes as i pleaded with my father’s mysterious behaviour, trying desperately to make him understand that there was no girl, probably an inexplicable presence he couldn’t explain. “Dad, please,” i begged, my voice cracking with emotion. “I swear, I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
Just as tensions reached a boiling point, my mother, rushed into the room, her expression one of concern and urgency. She inquired what the issue was and after my father told her, she too was baffled.
“David, please calm down,” she urged my father, her voice gentle but firm. “Let’s not jump to conclusions. Maybe there’s been a misunderstanding.”
My father’s fury began to ebb in the face of my mother’s soothing words, his anger giving way to confusion and remorse.
With a heavy sigh, he relented, his voice softened by regret. “I’m sorry, Son,” he murmured, his gaze averted in shame. “I let my emotions get the best of me. Please forgive me.”
Mom, sensing her father’s distress, placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. “Let’s not dwell on this,” she said, her voice filled with compassion. “We’ll keep a closer eye on Mario from now on, just to be sure.”
And with that, the tension in the room began to dissipate, replaced by a sense of understanding and forgiveness. Though the memory of that perplexing encounter lingered in their minds days after days.
As the night wore on, my Father probably let go of his anger, realizing that sometimes, the greatest mysteries are best left unsolved.
Me on the other hand became puzzled about the occurrence. Might that have been my father’s illusion?
Our peace was restored, but two days later, something mysterious happened, resulting in my unexpected life adventure, one I did not expect.
I was in my room when I notice a….
