CHAPTER SIX

“Uncle, it’s your niece we’re talking about here, and my sister too. You need to act fast, okay?” Junior said, tears in his eyes.

“You’re right, Junior. I’ll do that first thing tomorrow morning. Even though I don’t have enough money to pay them, I’ll seek help from one of my coworkers,” his uncle replied.

A few minutes later, his aunt came in.

“So, what are we going to do now?” she asked.

“Hmm, actually, I don’t know, but I think we should consult secret detectives. I’m sure they can help us,” the uncle replied.

“Are you sure this will work? By the way, do you have the money to do that?” she asked suspiciously.

“Don’t worry about the money. I know what to do,” the uncle reassured her.

The next day, early in the morning, while the uncle was going to seek help from his coworkers, he met one of his friends on the way.

“Wow, who do I see there?” his friend asked.

“Of course, it’s me,” he replied.

“Ah, but where are you heading this early morning? I was even planning to come to your house later in the day. It’s about your missing niece. I saw her yesterday near a hotel… I can vividly recollect,” his friend said.

“What? Are you sure about what you’re saying? That’s the main reason why I’m heading to my workplace this morning, to see if my friends can lend me some money to pay secret detectives,” the uncle replied.

“Come on, no need to do that. I can take you to where I saw her. I don’t know if she stays there, but I saw her with some group of ladies,” his friend said.

“Oh, okay. Can you please take me there?” the uncle said.

His friend took him to where we were with my girlfriends. Fortunately, he found us.

“Uncle, you’re here? Please take me home. I don’t know how I got to this place,” I said, crying, immediately as I set my eyes on my uncle.

“I’ve been looking for you everywhere! But what are you doing here? Look! What are you even wearing? Don’t tell me you’re into prostitution,” my uncle said.

I was still trying to explain n when we heard police vans.

“I called the police. You girls know that prostitution in this country is illegal,” my uncle’s friend said.

In a blink of an eye, we were all arrested (me and my girlfriends) and taken into custody.
