Just after having misunderstanding with chima our lastborn, my female bestie came to visit me.

my bestie always notifies me before coming to visit me, so that I could permit her to come if my parents ain’t around.

but this time, she didn’t notify me, I was so carefree sitting in the palour with both my parents while my bestie was knocking.

“chima! go and check who’s knocking,” my mom told chima.

Chima was surprised as he opened the gate, “makuo’s girlfriend? hehe, today na payback,” chima whispered.

“is makuo around?” my bestie asked.

“ooh yes, please come inside,” chima gladly said.

“what about your parents? are they around?” my bestie asked again.

“aaah! they travelled to Lagos and wouldn’t be back in next two months,” chima laughed.

As my bestie was about to barge inside the house, I called chima..

“chima! who’s that and what’s taking you so long?” I asked.

I was talking with my dad while waiting for chima to reply, but instead, he barged inside the palour

“makuo, your girlfriend is here, she said she’s been waiting for you at the hotel since morning but didn’t see you, so she decided to visit you here,” chima broadcasted.

“are you sure it’s makuo? maybe she mistook our house for someone else,” my mom who trusted me responded immediately.

before I could standup to check for myself, my bestie barged and hugged me in my parents presence.

 I was trying to give her signal, when she announced, “babe, it’s been long since we met at hotel”.
